TELEDYNE MARINE 2026 VIDEO CONTEST RULES

Teledyne Marine is pleased to kick-off of our 2026 Video contest. This year, we encourage you to share your best videos featuring or recorded with Teledyne Marine equipment. We invite customers to share video of Teledyne Marine products in action in the office, lab, or field; or data samples collected using our products.



Selection of the winning videos

A Teledyne Marine jury will choose their favorite video based on quality and content.



Contest Prizes*:

*Government officials and Teledyne Marine staff members will not be eligible for prizes as per the eligibility criteria specified in the contest rules.

For every 10 approved videos submitted to 41 videos, a GoPro HERO13 Black will be added to the prize pool:

  • If we have received 1-10 approved videos at the end of the contest, one winner will be selected to receive a GoPro HERO13 Black.
  • By 11-20 approved videos, two winners will be selected to win a GoPro HERO13 Black.
  • By 21-30 approved videos, three winners will be selected to win a GoPro HERO13 Black.
  • By 31-40 approved videos, four winners will be selected to win a GoPro HERO13 Black.
  • Over 41 approved videos, five winners will be selected to win a GoPro HERO13 Black.


One dedicated winner of the data category

The Jury will choose one additional dedicated winner for the best data video. The winner will receive a GoPro HERO13 Black.
A data video contains data recorded with a sensor from Teledyne Marine.



How to Enter:

Visit the contest page and upload your video including supporting details before the contest end date.



Video Submission Guidelines

Maximum of 3 different videos per person. Each video needs to show different subjects. The contest can now accept more videos showing the same content.

Winners will be announced via a press release, social media and on the Teledyne Marine website.



Contest Rules:

Entries for the contest must be submitted online at contest page. Entry opens on March 25, 2026. The closing date is July 1th, 2026.

The winners will be announced in August 1 2026.

The winning videos will be selected by a jury.

The video will by the jury be evaluated by the following criteria:

  • Technical quality of the video like focus, colors, and composition counts for 50%.
  • The content, the situation and the story being told with the video counts for 50%.
  • The jury consists of internal technical experts from Teledyne Marine.

By submission of a video, the participants grant Teledyne Marine a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable right to use the content for promotional and marketing use.

If submitted photos include images of people, the people in the photos (for persons under 18, the consent of their parent/guardian) must have given their explicit consent to the photo being submitted to the Teledyne Marine 2026 Video contest and used as specified in the contest rules.

All submitted videos must include a Teledyne Marine product or be recorded using a Teledyne Bowtech camera.

All submitted data videos must be created using Teledyne software suite or show data collected with a Teledyne Marine sensor.

Teledyne Marine reserves the right to cancel the contest and/or amend these terms and conditions without notice and without cause.

Teledyne Marine may extend the closing date for a reasonable period.

By participation in the contest and submission of a video, the participants warrant that they have the full proprietary rights to the uploaded content.

Media coverage will be generated by Teledyne Marine and the submitted video may by Teledyne Marine be used for publicity purposes.



Eligibility for participation in the contest/prize award:

  • Teledyne Marine employees and their immediate families and anyone professionally connected with the prize promotion are not eligible for participation in the contest.
  • Government officials may join the contest but will not be eligible for a prize if announced as a winner due to Teledyne’s anti-corruption policies and anti-corruption regulation. Nevertheless, we still love seeing how government officials utilize our products, so we encourage them to submit photos to share with the underwater community.
  • If the participant is under 18 years of age, consent for participation in the contest is required by a parent/guardian.
  • Individuals located in a restricted country, cf. Teledyne Marine’s General Terms and Conditions of Sale assessible at www.teledyne.com/what-we-do/terms-and conditions, are not eligible for participation in the contest.

Teledyne Marine does not accept any responsibility for entries that are incomplete, delayed, damaged, wrongly delivered or not received for whatever reason.

Teledyne Marine may remove and exclude videos deemed offensive or in conflict with the contest rules.

No cash alternatives for prizes are available. Not all prizes may be available for use and/or shipment to all parts of the world. Teledyne Marine will make reasonable endeavors to arrange for an alternate prize in these cases.

Teledyne Marine and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, or representatives accept no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any participant as a result of participating in the contest or being selected for a prize.

Any dispute related to the contest shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States of America, excepting its laws and rules relating to conflict of law.
