This year, we encourage you to share your best videos featuring or recorded with Teledyne Marine equipment.

Contest prizes:

For every 10 videos you submit, we add a GoPro action camera to the prize pool. For example, if we have 31 videos when the contest ends, a jury will select 3 winners; if we have over 40 videos, there will be 4 winners, etc.

On top of that, we have an additional GoPro for the best data video, showing data recorded with a sensor from Teledyne Marine.

Video examples

Examples include subsea footage captured with a Teledyne Bowtech camera, SeaBat sonar data shown in the UI or nicely presented in post processing software. It could also be recordings of your Teledyne Marine equipment in action above or below the sea surface, a clip from the repair shop, or preparations for your next mission—only your imagination sets the limits.

All videos will be published on the Video Challenge website and shared via Teledyne Marine’s social media channels.

The contest ends June 30th

The challenge opens for submissions on March 1st and ends on June 30th, after which the winners will be selected.

Each participant can upload up to 3 different videos. Each video will be approved by Teledyne Marine before entering the contest.

By submission of a video, the participants grant Teledyne Marine a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable right to use the content for promotional and marketing use.

If submitted photos include images of people, the people in the photos (for persons under 18, the consent of their parent/guardian) must have given their explicit consent to the photo being submitted to the Teledyne Marine 2026 Video contest and used as specified in the contest rules.

All submitted videos must include a Teledyne Marine product or be recorded using a Teledyne Bowtech camera.

All submitted data videos must be created using Teledyne software suite or show data collected with a Teledyne Marine sensor.

Teledyne Marine reserves the right to cancel the contest and/or amend these terms and conditions without notice and without cause.

Teledyne Marine may extend the closing date for a reasonable period.

By participation in the contest and submission of a video, the participants warrant that they have the full proprietary rights to the uploaded content.

Media coverage will be generated by Teledyne Marine and the submitted video may by Teledyne Marine be used for publicity purposes.



Eligibility for participation in the contest/prize award:
Teledyne Marine employees and their immediate families and anyone professionally connected with the prize promotion are not eligible for participation in the contest.
Government officials may join the contest but will not be eligible for a prize if announced as a winner due to Teledyne’s anti-corruption policies and anti-corruption regulation. Nevertheless, we still love seeing how government officials utilize our products, so we encourage them to submit photos to share with the underwater community.
If the participant is under 18 years of age, consent for participation in the contest is required by a parent/guardian.
Individuals located in a restricted country, cf. Teledyne Marine’s General Terms and Conditions of Sale assessible at www.teledyne.com/what-we-do/terms-and conditions, are not eligible for participation in the contest.
Teledyne Marine does not accept any responsibility for entries that are incomplete, delayed, damaged, wrongly delivered or not received for whatever reason.

Teledyne Marine may remove and exclude videos deemed offensive or in conflict with the contest rules.

No cash alternatives for prizes are available. Not all prizes may be available for use and/or shipment to all parts of the world. Teledyne Marine will make reasonable endeavors to arrange for an alternate prize in these cases.

Teledyne Marine and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, or representatives accept no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any participant as a result of participating in the contest or being selected for a prize.

Any dispute related to the contest shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States of America, excepting its laws and rules relating to conflict of law.
